Who we are

Algeco Scotsman is the leading global business services provider focused on modular space, secure portable storage solutions, and remote workforce accommodation management. Headquartered in Baltimore, Algeco Scotsman has operations in 24 countries with a modular fleet of approximately 201,000 units and 11,400 remote accommodations rooms. The company operates as Target Logistics in North America, Algeco in Europe, Elliott in the United Kingdom, Ausco in Australia, Portacom in New Zealand, and Algeco Chengdong in China.

Company History

Algeco Scotsman, a privately held company, was created in 2007, when Williams Scotsman was acquired by a syndicate led by investment funds managed by TDR Capital LLP, a United Kingdom based investment fund manager (“TDR Capital”). TDR Capital merged Williams Scotsman with Algeco (which principally operated in continental Europe), and Elliott (which operated in the UK) to create Algeco Scotsman. Simultaneously, TDR Capital concluded its acquisition of the European assets formerly owned by GE Modular Space, which were also placed into the operating control of the Algeco Scotsman group. In 2012, Algeco Scotsman purchased the Brazilian firm, the Eurobras Group and Ausco Modular + Portacom Building Solutions in Australia and New Zealand, respectively. Algeco Scotsman´s worldwide corporate center is located in Baltimore, Maryland (USA).

Algeco Scotsman provides prefabricated modular space serving a wide variety of business needs, including offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and storage. The structures can be used for either temporary (rent) and permanent applications, and can be deployed quickly and economically. Need a classroom in 6 days, or an entire school in just 6 weeks? Algeco Scotsman can supply it, together with a rental plan that meets your budget. And when your needs are finished, Algeco Scotsman can dismantle the structure into its component units, and remove them from your premises.
